Robert Weisberg

Robert Weisberg is an Edwin E. Huddleson, Jr. Professor of Law at Stanford Law School, and an expert on criminal law and procedure, and a leading scholar in the law and literature movement.

Biography

Weisberg received his B.A. degree from City College of New York in 1966, M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in English from Harvard University in 1967 and 1971. After graduation, he became a tenured English professor at Skidmore College

Weisberg went to learn law at Stanford Law School and received his J.D. degree in 1979. Then he served as a law clerk to Justice Potter Stewart of the U.S. Supreme Court. He joined the faculty at Stanford Law School in 1981.

His book, Literary Criticisms of Law, has been highly praised.
